It’s hard to describe how it feels like to write a score for your first feature film. It’s a blend of emotions going from honored to have landed the task, to a state of panic which always comes quite unexpectedly with every new project. But pretty soon fear became excitement once the creative writing process unfolded. Challenges became opportunities. That is in no small part thanks to all the wonderful people involved with this big hearted film.

This film also marks my second collaboration with the great combo Frank Van Looy (editor) and Thomas De Cock (director). Frank has a keen sense for rhythm and storytelling which makes my job as a composer more focused. Thomas as always approached my scoring duties boundlessly with so much passion, knowledge and companionship. I am truly blessed to have worked with these very fine people and be a part of this film.
